Taking photos is a nice opportunity to get away from it all. Being with my camera or sneaking through the countryside with other fellow photo-enthusiasts means one thing above all: Being outdoors. Actively experiencing nature. Of course you're always out for the ultimate shot that you just didn't manage to get. But the photo itself only mirrors a small fraction of the whole experience. Thus I hope to hopefully wet your appetite for "being out there".

My main focus is on macro photography and I am very much into insects, especially dragonflies. In my eyes it is fascinating to see such small things in a mutiple zoom and I always wonder, however, what hides from a normal view. For me it is particularly important that all the photos of nature have not been manipulated by me in any manner. The shown animals and plants have neither been intoxicated nor feeded nor picked or put in the right perspective etc.

I really hope you enjoy looking through the photo galleries and look forward to your feedback.
